Maybe you've seen this picture; it was published by Reuters with a title stating that the person being carried is dead. Note the "deceased's" hand appears to be quite able to hold onto that other woman's arm. Indeed, there were a whole bunch of pictures like this of, shall we say, dubious authenticity.
